Inside $\mathbb{R}^2 \times S^1$, a Euclidean product geometry with one periodic direction
Raymarching in the product geometry R2 x S1 (two flat directions with one periodic direction). Geodesics are straight lines that wrap in the S1 factor. This geometry is one of the six orientable compact Euclidean 3-manifold types.
