Inside a 3-torus manifold double connected by a wormhole, with earth and moon orbiting through the periodic space
This program renders the view from inside a 3-torus (cube with opposite faces identified) that contains a wormhole connecting two copies of the space. The Riemannian metric transitions smoothly from S2xE geometry near the wormhole throat to flat Euclidean in the bulk region, and geodesics are traced via RK4 integration. An earth-textured sphere and moon orbit through the periodic space, and rays passing through the wormhole mouth emerge in a second copy with different scene objects. The earth and moon are rendered with lat-long texture mapping.
