This program displays the figure-eight knot, the simplest non-torus knot in knot theory, rendered as a smooth tube following a parametric curve in 3-space. The figure-eight knot is the unique knot with four crossings and plays a central role in low-dimensional topology, particularly through its hyperbolic complement. The tube is rendered with standard Three.js lighting and materials.
