GPU path-traced negroni cocktail with refraction through nested glass, liquid, and ice
This program renders a photorealistic negroni cocktail using GPU-accelerated Monte Carlo path tracing. The scene includes a glass tumbler filled with colored liquid and ice, demonstrating physically accurate refraction through multiple nested transparent media, caustics, volumetric absorption (Beer’s law) for the liquid color, and Fresnel effects at glass-air and glass-liquid interfaces. The image progressively refines as more path-traced samples accumulate.
