Six strange attractors (Aizawa, Chen, Dadras, Rössler, Sprott, Thomas) rendered as trajectories in three-dimensional space
An attractor is a set of states toward which a dynamical system tends to evolve; attractors are called strange when they exhibit fractal-like behavior. This program visualizes six well-known strange attractors (Aizawa, Chen, Dadras, Rossler, Sprott, and Thomas) by numerically integrating their defining systems of ODEs and rendering the resulting trajectories as curves in three-dimensional space. Each attractor is accessible via a menu selector.
