Five gravitationally interacting bodies with chaotic trajectories and close encounters
This program numerically integrates the Newtonian gravitational equations of motion for five point masses interacting under mutual attraction. The five-body problem has no closed-form solution in general, and the system can exhibit highly chaotic behavior including close encounters and ejections. The trajectories are computed using a Runge-Kutta method and traced as curves in three-dimensional space.
