Geodesic circles of varying radii on a curved surface, distorted by Gaussian curvature
A geodesic circle on a surface is the locus of points at a fixed geodesic distance from a center point, analogous to a circle in the plane. On a curved surface, geodesic circles deviate from Euclidean circles: positive Gaussian curvature makes them smaller than expected, while negative curvature makes them larger. This program computes geodesic circles by shooting geodesics outward from a point in all directions.
