This program simulates concentric geodesic wavefronts expanding outward from a source point on a surface, visualizing how curvature affects wave propagation. On a flat surface the wavefronts remain circular, but Gaussian curvature causes them to distort: focusing in regions of positive curvature and dispersing where curvature is negative. The ripple pattern provides an intuitive visualization of the surface geometry.
