This program displays the figure-eight immersion of the Klein bottle, an alternative to the standard immersion that reveals different geometric features. In this parametrization, each cross section of the surface is a figure-eight curve, and the surface intersects itself along a line rather than a circle. This immersion is sometimes preferred because it makes the non-orientability more visually apparent.
