Single gradient descent trajectory on a user-defined surface with gradient arrows
Displays a parametric surface together with a single gradient descent path rolling downhill from a user-specified starting point and direction. The surface is equipped with its induced Riemannian metric, and the geodesic equation is solved to compute the steepest-descent trajectory, with gradient arrows showing the local field.
