the majumdar papapetrou solution to the einstein-maxwell equations describes a collection of charged black holes in electrostatic equalibrium. Here six such black holes are shown arranged on the vertices of a regular octahedron. We visualize them from the perspective of a viewer inside the spacetime, and assign each black hole a color: a pixel on the screen is colored red (for instance) if the null geodesic from the viewer’s eye in that direction falls into the red black hole’s event horizon.
