Inside view of a binary Majumdar-Papapetrou black hole system with colored event horizons
Renders the view of an observer inside the spacetime of two charged black holes in electrostatic equilibrium, described by the Majumdar-Papapetrou solution to the Einstein-Maxwell equations. Null geodesics from the viewer’s eye are integrated via RK4, and pixels are colored based on which black hole’s event horizon each ray falls into, or by a sky texture if they escape.
